Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had landed several television roles, including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. She was also in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
